The big news for the 2011 model year is the hybrid variant, which is powered by a supercharged V6 TSI unit making 333-hp. Mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and a 47-hp electric-motor, the 2011 Touareg Hybrid produces a total of 380-hp and a maximum torque of 428 lb-ft. Fuel-economy is estimated to come in at 39 mpg.
